Macallan The Flask

The Flask saw the Macallan team up with sunglasses designers, Oakley, for a special release of whisky that was accompanied by a flask. The flask is made from food-grade steel, then wrapped in a carbon fibre composite and “treated to an intensive passivation and electro-polishing procedure to ensure perfection.” It is then clad in black anodized 5-axis machined aerospace grade aluminium.

Although the physical flask was available in both the US and UK market, the 400 bottles of whisky were a US exclusive.
