This Hakushu was matured in a first-fill bourbon barrel for 18 years and bottled by the Scotch Malt Whisky Society. This is actually SMWS cask 120.5 but it was mis-labelled upon release. The intended cask 120.4 was a first-fill Spanish sherry butt.
