Jon Canoe rum is a light gold overproof rum which has been aged for 15 years and is named after an 18th century Gold Coast chieftain. "John Connu" defended a Prussian fort from Dutch traders in 1720 and used their skulls for a variety of purposes, one of which was a silver mounted skull cup to drink rum out of.This was imported for the Italian market exclusively by Whiskyteca Giaccone Salo.
