Ardbeg 1975

The lack of depth in the Ardbeg warehouses following the Glenmorangie PLC takeover in 1997 made finding a core range for the distillery a challenge. Its first age statement was a generous 17-year-old and these 1975 vintages were bottled between 1998 and 2001.
